Take a look at what’s happening in the Canada real estate market. The big cities of Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary are down (with the exceptiion of Montreal which is up)and the small ones like Winnipeg, Halifax, St. Johns Newfoundland are up.

Great round-up Maggie and it would have taken you a lot of time to put together. Thanks for doing that and I must say it’s an interesting synopsis to see the trend of cities versus towns. The one caution is that some areas report based on median prices and others on average prices. I know in our market, it’s averages so, a few high end sales dropping off can make it look like prices are down or conversely, a big drop in lower end sales can make it appear higher.
